Yuan-Ti
Located in the fane of the night serpent above the tomb of the nine gods, Ras-Nsi leads the Yuan-ti cult who seek the return of Dendar the Night Serpent to consume the universe.
The yuan-ti nightmare speaker Fenthaza (see chapter 4, TOA p239 for stat block) believes that the Black Opal Crown is the key to awakening Dendar the Night Serpent. Fenthaza's constant obsessing has allowed him a weak ability to roughly track its location. This may or may not be delusion.
The crown rests in the maze of death (area 49). ToA p 161
If the characters find the crown, Fenthaza will use any means necessary to obtain it from them before they escape Chult with it.
