Sure, it's a lost city but since a lot of adventurers have come to try to end the death curse, it's a lot less lost. By the time we get close there are well worn trails.

There's also a well spaced perimeter guard of zombies by now. They circle the top of the canyon, and kill all who encroach, sending their souls to the soul catcher and leaving their bodies to join the parade.

Any who make it through this blockade are free to explore the city, and have already set off all the traps in the various shrines, but it's typically only a matter of hours before they are inevitably picked up by the yuan-ti as slaves.

The yuan-ti have thus collected anything of value that the explorers scoured from the city.

ToA ch 3 p91 no need to explore the city. Just encounter a group of yuan-ti

FIXME ditch the puzzle cubes. Instead which Ras Nsi (ToA 230) can send an escort to unlock the tomb.

Use ch 4 fane of the night serpent to meet and chat with Ras Nsi and convince him for entry into tomb of the nine gods
